744.452: Types of Specimens

I’m honoured to share that my type design work is included in 744.452: Types of Specimens, part of Melbourne Design Week 2026, now on view at Buxton Contemporary in Melbourne.Sincere thanks to Ela for bringing my work into this exhibition, and for making this possible. Drawing on collections from across the University of Melbourne, the exhibition brings together artworks, rare books, publications, printed posters and typographic objects from the sixteenth century to today, tracing four centuries of type, print, experimentation and reproduction.I’m delighted that my work can sit within this rich historical context, and be in conversation with works across different periods, media and cultural perspectives.
